As a result, my files are a little smaller than the originals. No worries, I'll just do it myself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20054565.post-67899611254909608142007-08-29T08:42:00.000-07:002007-08-29T08:42:00.000-07:00Phone conversations are mono, so converting to ste...Phone conversations are mono, so converting to stereo would only double the file sizes. Reencode for stereo, and what - double the amount of space that the file will take up?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20054565.post-32731203902042849302007-08-27T16:16:00.000-07:002007-08-27T16:16:00.000-07:00Actually, stereo/two-channel would do the trick. I went ahead and converted all the bsdtalk -- and other single-channel -- podcasts I have to two-channel oggs (22050 sample rate) using sox. They now work perfectly. Thanks for your podcasts.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20054565.post-11294673493313191252007-08-27T06:34:00.000-07:002007-08-27T06:34:00.000-07:00Which encoding setting would work better?Which encoding setting would work better?Mrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01892092907807448908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20054565.post-30635106666000116952007-08-25T07:04:00.000-07:002007-08-25T07:04:00.000-07:00I wish you would change your encoding because your...I wish you would change your encoding because your podcasts play back double speed on my mp3 player and when using mpg123/ogg123 or mp3blaster. You're not alone in this regard, but I care more about your podcast than some of the others who are using awkward encodings. That means I have to either re-encode to use it how I want to and how I normally listen, or start X and listen via xmms since it can deal with different encodings (I usually don't run X).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20054565.post-11066400509819434472007-08-13T09:18:00.000-07:002007-08-13T09:18:00.000-07:00I find that whenever I include links in the body o...I find that whenever I include links in the body of the post it messes up the iTunes feed.
