Pre-announce sounds like a good idea. In this case, and many others, when I ask for an interview they often answer "How about today". I'll see what I can do.

Very good initiative....
Was listening to this talk of postgresql while I'm doing a pg_dump and restore cycle to move from 8.1.2 to 8.1.3.

Would really like to see more in depth talks about the techniques like stored procedures, triggers, etc etc.

Keep up the good work, I will definiately bookmark this site immediately.

Thanks

By default, root login via SSH is disabled on FreeBSD. For the attack you talk of the cracker would have break into a normal user account. If successful they have one more hoop to jump through, the user account must also be in the wheel group for them to su into root.

Keep up the good work!... Have you thought about a video podcast show?

As a postgres user from kind of lost and poor place down under (Argentina and Uruguay) I appreciate the interview as useful bot not boring.
U know ,maybe this is lost in the USA or in the EU ,but my parents used to keep touch with Engand and Ireland thru SW radio (BBC,RTE).
I was a boy these times ,but this afternoon I felt the same (nice) sensation
Thank u
