Is the noise thats comes on every once and awhile on this podcast and the last your laptop's fan?
I recorded two interviews with an iPod using a microphone attachment, and didn't realize that it was picking up the sound of the iPod hard drive spinning up. The next interview that I recorded used a different device. Sorry about the noise.
It's not bothersome enough to ruin the interviews, I was just curious what was causing it! Can't wait to hear what else you recorded!
Excellent interview! Great book, too.
Joseph Kong let us know he likes Stevenson books... is that an author or a publisher?
i want practical programming books.. what is he talkin about?
he's referring to "TCP/IP Illustrated" by W. Richard Stevens. These books are THE definitive reference on TCP/IP and highly recommended reading.
Correct. I am referring to W. Richard Stevens. However, I was being very general when I said "I like Stevens", because I like all of his books; not just "TCP/IP Illustrated".
