    Is the noise thats comes on every once and awhile on this podcast and the last your laptop's fan?

  2. I recorded two interviews with an iPod using a microphone attachment, and didn't realize that it was picking up the sound of the iPod hard drive spinning up. The next interview that I recorded used a different device. Sorry about the noise.

    Joseph Kong let us know he likes Stevenson books... is that an author or a publisher?
    i want practical programming books.. what is he talkin about?

    he's referring to "TCP/IP Illustrated" by W. Richard Stevens. These books are THE definitive reference on TCP/IP and highly recommended reading.

    Correct. I am referring to W. Richard Stevens. However, I was being very general when I said "I like Stevens", because I like all of his books; not just "TCP/IP Illustrated".
