Actually Apple did make PReP systems, briefly. The ANS (Apple Network Server) was just that. I believe they even shipped with AIX. It certainly was an unusual beast for Apple to make.
ReplyDeleteI allways thought it was odd that apple was in on the spec, and provided docs for it, but never seemingly produced one. However, I imagine that machine is rare enough that I will never see one.
