This was a great interview. If I ever run an e-mail server, I will definitely take a look at employing the spamd software discussed in the podcast.
Does anyone know of attemts/successes in porting spamd to freebsd. I have seen mentioned on various malinglist mail/spamd wich is to my limmited knowlage not the openbsd spamd.
Bob is talking about this interview he and other OpenBSD developers made for 3.7http://www.onlamp.com/lpt/a/5842
Haha Bob is awesome. Emacs is a bloated pig!I rofl'd
Thanks for this interview. I now have a high-level idea of what spamd does, and I also now am more aware that there are less ascerbic people than Theo that work on this project. It makes me more willing to purchase a CD than I might otherwise be.I've gotten sick of junk mail and will myself be implementing spamd when OpenBSD 4.0 comes out. The OpenBSD team is rightly well respected for its work.
Bob, you rock & so dose spamd!!! Thanks for the interview, keep on developing, and I'll keep donating.
Need to get Bob back, he was great.
