That was a nice interview, Diane Bruce sounds like a very talented individual :-)
Thanks for another great interview. I especially loved the HAM radio topics that Diane was talking about. I've been interested in HAM for some time now. Maybe eventually I'll see about learning some more about it.
I knew that options for HAM operators were available on Linux, but not the BSDs. Cool to know. :-)
Great interview! Nice to see some hams are using the BSD's. Who else is out there? Anyone ever tried JNOS, TNOS, or any flexnet clones on the BSD's? I've been thinking about trying them, but I've never got around to it yet. Comment here or toss me a n email (I'm good in QRZ.com).
I have implemented a portion of the ax.25 stack from scratch, just sufficient to decode UI frames. I did this so I could write an ECHO (AO-51) Telemetry decoder. I really need to clean this code up and make it into a port. I also have code sitting here that will do tcp/ip over ax.25 UI frames, I need to clean that up and get both of these into the ports system. This pretty much does away for the need for TNOS etc. I suspect.
